Own Label setup (labels for ALL current products plus pot images)

Personalised labels setup for ALL products in our current range PLUS multi-angled product images. 

This Own Label package includes the setup of personalised labels for ALL products in our current range, plus product images*.

You choose how many products you wish to re-brand. You do not need to set up all labels upfront. You can add to your range over time, at a rate that suits you.

We can design the labels for you (using one of our design templates), or you can supply your own artwork.

Once you have purchased Own Label setup, you will automatically be emailed the Own Label Questionnaire when your order has been processed.

Once submitted, we can then open your file and prepare your design proof (usually within 1 - 2 working days of submission). Alternatively, if you wish to supply your own artwork, please let us know (either by creating a ticket or using the Comments field in the Questionnaire) and we will send you instructions.

*What are product images? The 3D, multi-angled computer-generated renders of the products (i.e. images of your own label products, to feature on your sales platforms and in your marketing materials etc).

What you get

If we are preparing the designs for you...

• The setup of personalised labels for all products in our current range (no time limit applies to setup).
• The label design of your choice from one of our templates (your chosen design will then be applied to all labels, as well as any labels you may add to your Own Label range in future)
• Your business logo included in the design (this must be supplied by you, or we can design one for you if purchased separately here).
• Your choice of colour scheme (a single colour scheme is applied across all labels if we are designing them for you. If different colours are required for each label, this can be purchased as an add-on - see below - or you can supply your own artwork).
• A single label design proof and one round of amendments.
• Your own unique product names (mandatory, but you do not need to come up with all names at once). We will review these for you.
• Your contact details.
• Stock images of our choice to feature on the labels (this only applies to design templates that already incorporate stock images, as shown in the gallery).
• Free printing of your labels for all orders of our products.
• Digitally-generated images (3D renders) of your own label products, supplied as multi-angled high-resolution transparent pngs (normally charged at £12.99 + VAT per product). Please note: these images are not photographs.
  
  

If you are supplying your own artwork...

• The setup of personalised labels for all products in our current range (no time limit applies to setup).
• Freedom to design your labels as you wish (within the parameters of our guidelines and all legal requirements, as set out in the Own Label FAQs).
• We will review your proposed product names.
• We will review a single sample of your artwork in each of our label sizes (as applicable to you) and provide you with comments. Once all samples have been approved, you will be expected to carefully prepare all remaining labels on the approved basis and in line with our templates. We do not proof each label. 
• You can include multiple colour schemes, flat pot spines, barcodes etc at no extra cost (as you will be incorporating these into your own artwork).
• Free printing of your labels for all orders of our products.
• Digitally-generated images (3D renders) of your own label products, supplied as multi-angled high-resolution transparent pngs (normally charged at £12.99 + VAT per product). Please note: these images are not photographs.

What is not included

This Own Label setup package is an easy and affordable way to get a full range of branded products up and running quickly, along with images that you can use to market your range (avoiding costly product photography fees).

Please note, if we are preparing the label designs for you, this value service does not include:

• a high level of customisation or design control
• personalised flat pot spines
• personalised barcodes
• different colour schemes on different labels
• changes to the template layout / design
• changes to the descriptive product text
• changes to the back / side panels
• translation of any label elements into another language (if this is required, you can supply your own artwork)
• changes to the effects, angles or other aspects of the digitally-generated product images (which is why we do not provide proofs of the renders).

Amendments and customisation 

If we are preparing your label designs...

As mentioned above, if we are designing your labels, you will be provided with a single label proof on one of our templates, for the purposes of approving the design.

At this stage you can make one round of amendments to that proof at no extra cost. If multiple proofs are required, or you wish to see a proof on a different template, these will be charged for at a rate of x1 work unit (£15 plus VAT) per proof, to cover the extra time.

Following final approval of the proof by you, your labels will be set up for print. 

Should changes be required following proof approval or setup, this will incur an amendment fee.

Should you require a high level of design control or completely bespoke labels, you have the option to supply us with your own artwork.

If you are supplying your own artwork...

We will review one sample of your artwork in each of the label sizes that apply to you, and let you have our comments.

Once we have approved your sample(s), you will then be asked to upload your final artwork on that basis and in line with our templates. You will need to ensure that you carefully check your artwork (e.g. for typos, errors etc) prior to submission and carefully follow our templates / instructions.

As mentioned in the FAQs, following approval of your sample(s), we do not proof your artwork. Any amendments or replacements required following submission of your artwork and setup of your file will incur an admin fee. 

Why this setup package is such great value

NO contracts or obligations * NO minimum orders * NO printing costs * NO photographer or graphic designer fees.

This Own Label setup package is ideal for those customers looking to launch a full and comprehensive range of products at once and offers best value for money.

Being able to launch so many products at once offers the biggest sales potential, attracting the broadest possible customer base. 

What's more, as this package includes images of your labels on the products (supplied as multi-angled 3D renders), you can quickly and easily get marketing on your chosen sales platform(s) (i.e. your own website, on social media or on a third party platform such as TikTok, Amazon or eBay etc). 

As you will be receiving multiple angles of each product, the total number of images that you will receive (assuming you set up the full range of products) is over 340. This means that you will be receiving the images for around £1 plus VAT each, making this package excellent value for money that you will not be able to match elsewhere.

In our experience, it is very difficult to market Own Label products without images and, while you can arrange to have photographs taken yourself, product photography can be tricky, costly and time-consuming.

Other important information 

• New labels added in future: If we design your labels and you choose to add more products to your Own Label range in future (e.g. as we introduce new products to our catalogue), the new labels will follow the same design previously approved by you as part of this initial setup. We do not supply additional proofs for future label setups.
  
  
• Own label dropship orders: These are posted out to your clients with your labels on the products. We do not charge a labelling fee.

• Own label bulk orders / orders to yourself: These will be posted out to you unlabelled, with the printed labels included in the box. You will need to apply your labels to the pots yourself. The 'Own Label Labelling Guide' form will be included with your invoice and printed Own Labels - this enables you to match the product code on the pot base sticker against the label code (also shown on your invoice). Alternatively, you can pay a fee of 15p per unit for us to apply the labels for you. This option is given at checkout. Contact us if you have any queries.

• Specialist Supplements Ltd branded labels: Please do not refer to our own branded labels as an example of what you will receive with Own Label. Our labels are in slightly different dimensions and we have invested a significant amount of time and money in our own designs.
